SouthernSweetTea.jpg

1 Large Pinch Baking Soda

2 Cups Boiling Water

6 Tea Bags, of your preference - An organic black tea works great!

1/2 - 3/4 Cup Organic Cane Sugar, to taste

6 Cups Cold Water

Sprinkle your large pinch of baking soda into a glass pitcher. Pour in your boiling water, and add the tea bags. Cover the pitcher and allow the tea to steep for 15 minutes. When ready, remove and discard the teabags. Stir in your sugar; continue to mix slowly until your sugar is dissolved. Add in your cold water, and refrigerate until cold. Serve in a mason jar over ice, with lemon and peach slices as an optional garnish.
