Grilled Peaches With Whiskey Ice Cream
If you're not eating fresh peaches with a good glass of wine, the next best thing is a grilled peach topped with homemade ice cream.
4 ripe, organic peaches
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp butter
Juice of 1/2 Lemon
Ice Cream For Topping, preferably homemade
Slice each peach in half, and delicately remove each pit. Mix lemon juice, butter and sugar and cover each peach with the mix. Grill skin side down until skin is slightly charred, about 3 minutes, and you get nice grill marks. Flip and repeat on each side. When soft, plate and serve with your favorite ice cream.
