DIY Wood Branch Candle Holders

What you'll need:

  • Reclaimed branches or stumps cut to the size you like (A chain saw, chop saw, reciprocating saw, or even a hand saw will work.)
  • A drill with a bit the size of the candles you’d like to use
  • Candles

Any type of wood will work for this, however we recommend using wood that is already dry. Make sure you cut both ends of the branches completely flat, to the height you desire. For a cleaner finish you can choose to sand the cut ends with a rough grit (120 grit then smooth it off using 400 grit). Using the drill, drill a hole out for your candle to sit. If using tea candles make the hole no deeper than 1 inch; so the flame sits above the wood. Place your candle inside, light and enjoy!
