A Weekend Up Knörth; Fly Fishing Levette Lake
It will take you only about 5 minutes to learn that British Columbia's backcountry doesn't dare disappoint. Regardless where you are, we can guarantee you will be surrounded by lush forests, lakes, rivers, wildlife and endless mountain views.
This past Friday was no different. A quick trip out of the city led us to a small, isolated mountain lake. Despite being closed due to an aggressive bear warning, we weighed our options; Who can pass up a deserted lake full of tiny (but assumingly delicious) fish?
Mountain mist hovered above the lake, while the Tantalus Mountain Range danced in and out of the clouds. We juggled a hefty itinerary of fly fishing, beer 'tasting', fire making, meat roasting and landscape photography. It doesn't get more 'pacific northwest' than this.
