Coke or Cola ?

Transient

Don't want to give up Coke? Coca-Cola has long been known to contain various harmful additive as well as unnecessary sugar quantities. Coke contains ten teaspoons of sugar (100% of your recommended daily sugar intake) and highly modified corn syrup. Sugar is the leading factor in increased obesity in the world, which in hand is a major cause of cancer in the western world. Ever wonder where Coke gets it's deep caramel colour? Not surprisingly, its not natural, but comes from 4-methlyimidazole, a controversial chemical which has recently come to light and been linked to cancer causing properties. Over the past decade anti-Coke campaigns have sparked research into this chemical, and forced the FDA to decrease quantities. What’s more - Europeans use Coke to clean their washrooms while firefighters worldwide have been known to use Coca-Cola to clean up oil spills - the acidic components (excess added citric and phosphoric acid) are strong enough to dissolve most unwanted residues. Refreshing?

We like our Rum & Coke just as much as everyone else but we made the decision to make it Rum & Cola. Try alternatives such as Boylands Sugar Cane Cola. It's "old school" cola at its finest. Made from all natural ingredients with subtle hints of lemon, lime, orange and lavender, not to mention the natural sweetness of cane sugar.  This cola has no artificial colours, flavours, preservatives or sodium.
